Celebrate Recovery is a Biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than just psychological theory. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through their recovery process. There is no need to sign up for CR. Everyone and anyone is welcome to attend just one group session or every week! This group will enter through the 3rd front door, closest to Fastenal.
When: Monday evenings
Led by: Laura Sagarin
Who: Adults recovering from loss, various types of grief, addiction, compulsions and life
Girls, do you love conversation, encouragement and food? Then you will LOVE GNO with Gina. At GNO we eat, talk, build new relationships and strengthen each other through encouragement. Let Gina know you'll be there by signing up below or ask at the Connection Center on a Sunday morning to meet Gina and sign up in person:)
Grief is a personal journey that needs real talk and real support. At MyGrief you will find a friendly welcoming environment and people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences with the love of Jesus Christ. MyGrief is for people grieving the death of a family member or friend.
We understand that there are other losses in life that create feelings of grief. You might be experiencing a job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, the death of a pet or the loss of friends because of a move. This grief is real, but it is not the kind of grief discussed at MyGrief. If you need support in those areas Celebrate Recovery is a great option.
When: The next session is TBD
Where: At North Shore Christian Church

This is one of our most powerful ministries. Every week we feed people who are homeless and transient by preparing lunches and driving out to the streets and laundromats to give them away. You can serve by signing up to make the sandwiches and taking them out! Because of the inability to predict each environment we visit, there are some age restrictions. Children ages 8 & older can accompany a parent to help make sandwiches and bag the lunches, but may not hand out lunches or be left in a vehicle unattended. Children ages 10 and older, can hand out sandwiches when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If your child is too young to serve right now, purchasing snacks/juice boxes to donate and talking with your child about how they will be used and why they are needed, and even praying over them with your child, can be very meaningful:) Teens 14 and older can serve without a parent. This ministry is led by servant volunteer leader, Cathy Heller. Call 631-208-0123 or send an email to email@example.com to find out how you can get involved today!
