Our Beliefs

We recognize the Bible as the inspired word of God and the single source for direction and truth for the Church and the Christian life.

 2 Timothy 3:16; Proverbs 30:5

We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God; that He died for our sins and resurrected from the dead.

John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8

We believe that there is one true God, the creator of the universe, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19; John 1:1,14; John 14:26; 1 Peter 1:2

We believe that salvation is by the grace of God and through faith in Jesus Christ's death on the cross and resurrection.

Ephesians 2:8, 9; Romans 5:8-11

We practice that those wishing to identify themselves as followers of Christ would in obedience do two things inwardly (believe in Jesus; repent) and do two things outwardly (confess Jesus is Lord; be baptized).

Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Peter 3:21

We observe the Lord's Supper (Communion) weekly as the central act of Christian worship to remember the Lord's death.

Luke 22:15-19; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

We invite into our fellowship all who would commit themselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and regard its people not as the only Christians, but as Christians only, seeking oneness with all believers in matters essential to the Christian faith.

Acts 11:26; 1 Peter 2:17
